Chile · 4-Storey Modular Hotel

A 2,450 sqm four-storey modular hotel delivered to Antofagasta, Chile — comprising 108 rooms, two stair cores, and a fully engineered steel modular frame system designed to meet local seismic and structural requirements. The project was originally specified by the client as a container-based system, but engineering analysis demonstrated that a purpose-designed welded modular building was required to safely achieve the four-storey stacking load.

MICA's engineering team worked alongside the client's local engineers to develop a modular frame solution combining welded floor modules, structural columns, and bracing supports — all pre-fabricated off-site for rapid on-site assembly. Floor modules incorporate 18mm cement fiber board, 100mm rock wool insulation, and 9mm OSB underside, with internal cavities for water and electrical services. The result was delivered on time and led to repeat business with the client across additional modular projects.

Battery Energy Storage Systems

MICA Industrial supplies residential and commercial-industrial battery energy storage systems (BESS) based on lithium iron phosphate (LFP) chemistry — the safest, longest-cycle battery technology for stationary energy storage. Systems are available from 5kWh wall-mounted home units to 144kWh+ rack-mounted commercial installations and containerised utility-scale solutions.

All BESS products integrate a Battery Management System (BMS) providing cell-level monitoring, over-charge and over-discharge protection, thermal management, and State-of-Health (SOH) reporting. PV Mounting & Racking Systems

Complete turnkey PET bottle recycling lines processing post-consumer plastic bottles into clean, food-grade rPET flakes suitable for fibre, strapping, sheet, and bottle-to-bottle applications. Lines handle the full processing chain from baled mixed bottles through sorting, label removal, washing, and drying to final clean flake output.

Supplied through BOXIN factory with processing capacities from 500 kg/h to 5,000 kg/h. Systems include automatic bale breaker, pre-washing trommel, label remover, hot caustic wash, float-sink separation tank, friction washer, rinse tank, centrifugal dryer, and thermal dryer. Output flake moisture content ≤1% with contamination level meeting food-grade rPET standards.

LDPE Film & Flexible Plastic Recycling Line

Turnkey recycling lines for LDPE and LLDPE flexible plastic films — including industrial stretch wrap, pallet film, shrink film, and post-consumer carrier bags. Systems process contaminated film waste into high-quality recycled LDPE pellets for reuse in new film, pipe, or injection moulding applications.

Supplied through YINHOO factory with capacity from 300 kg/h to 2,000 kg/h. The line integrates a pre-washing conveyor, shredder, friction washer, float-sink tank, squeeze dryer, and compact extruder-pelletiser. Specially designed for light, flexible film materials that standard rigid plastic recycling lines cannot handle effectively.
